Newpark Care Centre
The Ward, Dublin 11
A Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment prepared for a proposed 1,947.9 sq. m extension to the existing care centre.
The development included 29 additional bedrooms, new physiotherapy, dining and garden spaces, extensions to the service and staff areas, and alterations providing additional storage and ancillary accommodation.
AYG was retained by Gravis Planning to prepare a standalone LVIA assessing the effects of the proposed development on the receiving landscape and on visual amenity.

Landscape proposals prepared for a new Commercial Vehicle Testing Centre, including its boundaries, entrance, public-realm interface and associated site works.
AYG was commissioned by Adrian Hennessy, Architect and lead designer, initially to respond to a request for further information and subsequently to address a condition of the planning permission.
The work included a desktop planning and environmental review, coordination with the architectural and civil-engineering proposals, a site walkover and assessment of existing vegetation, and the preparation of landscape plans and supporting Landscape Design Statements.
The revised proposals incorporated additional SuDS measures, native planting, roadside boundary treatments and details for the public-realm area adjoining Dublin Road.

Landscape and green-infrastructure proposals prepared for four two-storey, three-bedroom semi-detached houses, six parking spaces and associated site works.
AYG was commissioned by J Taylor Architects Ltd to prepare the initial Landscape Plan and a coordinated landscape-and-services drawing.
Following a request for additional information, AYG prepared expanded landscape proposals addressing existing trees and hedgerows, hard and soft landscaping, levels, boundaries, SuDS, the Green Space Factor and existing green-infrastructure assets.
AYG also appointed and coordinated the project arborist and ecologist to prepare the required Tree Survey, Arboricultural Report and Ecological Impact Assessment.

AYG was commissioned by J Taylor Architects Ltd to prepare the Landscape Plan, supporting Landscape Design Statement and five-year Landscape Management Plan.
The scheme addressed existing vegetation, hard and soft landscaping, boundary planting, finished levels and sections, permeable paving, tree-pit design, SuDS integration, planting specifications and long-term landscape establishment.
